Important Coronavirus (COVID-19) Office Updates
If you are scheduled for a televisit, please review carefully the following instructions:
Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians is closely following all information from the Center of Disease Control, Illinois Department of Public Health and other local authorities regarding COVID-19 pandemic. As health care providers and members of our community, the safety and health of our patients and team members is of the utmost importance.
As of 9/13/21:
Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians has returned to in person new patients and follow up appointments, procedures, and surgeries. Televists remain an option, however, only on a case by case basis.
We continue to abide by the lastest CDC and state guidelines including requirements for health care facilities as dictated by the recent Executive Order. This includes COVID-19 vaccinations, weekly COVID-19 testing, and masking.
As of 5/1/2020:
Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians restarting elective procedures and surgeries.
Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians is following CDC and state guidelines to restart elective procedures as of 5/1/20. This includes enhanced screening prior to arrival and at time of arrival to our facilities for COVID19 symptoms, COVID19 testing for all patients undergoing anesthesia sedation, and physical distancing of patients to reduce risk of transmission. We are also performing enhanced CDC recommended cleaning in our facilities before, between, and after patient care with hospital grade disinfectants of all touch points. All staff and patients are required to wear masks or face coverings. Rest assured, we are making every effort to make your procedure or surgery visit as safe as possible.
For the safety of our staff and patients, we continue to provide telemedicine visits for all new patients and follow up encounters. If medically necessary, we will arrange an in-person evaluation in our office locations.
As of 3/19/2020:
Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians remains OPEN to provide care to new and existing patients.
Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians is now making use of televisits to better serve our patients and our communities. Clinic visits will be encouraged to be performed through a televisit rather than in person. A televisit is a convenient and safe way for patients to remotely connect with their provider through a real time video conference from the convenience of your smartphone, tablet, desktop, or laptop.
